Tamika, now 15 years old has become a prolific songwriter, writing her first song, “The Lullaby in October 2010 when she was only 12. Tamika is from Sydney, Australia and can often be seen singing her own songs to audiences as a busker in Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs.
She is also known to many for her busking during a year on the Sunshine Coast of Queensland during 2010.
Tamika has a powerful voice and a large vocal range which is still in the early stages of development. Her current style could best be described as Country/crossover, but she is able to sing songs from many different styles and is currently having classical voice training. Her writing is happy, upbeat and catchy.
Tamika intends to be a professional singer/songwriter/musican and her aim is to study and work in New York city when she leaves school.
